How do I restrict and tune Content?

marcus0263 - March 7, 2008 - 04:56

In the "permissions" section the only option for "anonymous" in the node module is all or nothing. I need anonymous to have access (view) to for example book, story blogs and page but restrict access to blogs or visa versa, mix and match. I also would like to know how to go about having a public and private blog, pages, etc..

I also don't see a thing for other modules like "image, image_gallery", but I'll bring that up on the respective module threads. But I need to get this answered beforehand.

So where should I be looking to accomplish this?

Thanks

It sounds like you want

It sounds like you want something like Taxonomy Access Control. Unfortunately, this module has not been ported to D6 yet.

Thanks, yeah it does I'll keep an eye on it's progress. Actually I'm kind of stunned this functionality isn't in the core, but then I'm new to Drupal. Hopefully it will make it into the core in the near future.
