Hello, and thank you devs for this very useful module.
I've noticed that the image_import.module doesn't benefit from the transliteration.module feature.
Eventhough my image filenames should already be set correctly by my site users before uploading, transliteration would be a good precaution parapet for avoiding any forgotten error in the naming. This is an important feature for a Document Management System.
I wish you the best,
Regards, Arsène

NB: The image_import.module is an image.module contributed one.

smk-ka commentedFiles read from your local system are a wholly different story: at least on Windows I wasn't even able to properly encode the filenames so they display correctly in the image_import form. AFAIK this is a known problem with Windows and/or PHP not fully being on Unicode, so it seems this can't easily be fixed. In fact, it isn't even a transliteration issue but seems to be related to PHP's readdir() function.

druvision commentedTake a look at This path - a major overhaul of the image_import module which works support for the translitation module.
