I've done a search for an e-commerce module for Drupal 6 but it seems that the ones available are for versions 5.x Is there one for 6.x or one about to be released?

it's really actual thing for a lot of drupal users to get e-comm module working on drupal 6.1

if it won't in nearest time then it looks like i'll try to study php one more time to be able update e-comm code for 6.1 drupal version

or look for another web system

it'll be sad as i like drupal and 6.1 looks like a pretty sweet ..

and i need good e-comm for drupal for a long long time already

Unfortunately Druapl 6 is crippled in this regard. So far, none of the e-commerce modules are being ported to v6, which is really annoying. Both of the main ecommerce modules are in development for new versions for Drupal 5. Once complete, they will then be ported to Drupal 6. Ubercart seems to be the more active module with frequent updates. There's been little word from e-commerce since March, so who knows.
