Hi there, I'm working on replacing the websites for the charity I work for and just wanted to share what I've done so far :-)
I am looking to plug in the ubercart module probably to handle the gift shop and virtual gifts (similar to Oxfam's gifts unwrapped).

The existing website is at:

http://www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk

Are there other Druplers setting up websites for charities?

Cheers, not my design - it was designed by rowanw, another drupal.org member. I am pretty stoked about my implementation though... lol

There are loads of charity websites built on drupal, including Amnesty International amongst others.

We recently built this for Cancerbackup: www.whatnow.org.uk as an ongoing project.

Did you design the theme yourself? I too would be very interested to know what modules you are using. I very much like the way you have saved space by using tabs.
