First let me just say this is a wonderful module and it's EXACTLY what I needed on my site :)

I just want to know if there's a way to edit the text on the menu item that says "Administer My Categories". I didn't see it anywhere in the menu administration area.

Also, I was wondering if this module is safe to use on a production site? I noticed it's in beta right now but it seems pretty stable.

Well, at least for my modules, "beta" means I think it's stable, but I need your input. I know of three sites in which it is in use, even without the latest features, so I suspect it is safe. It is a relatively simple module.

I think adding a text option to the settings page should be simple enough. Would that satisfy the need?

I committed a change to the 5.x branch (still need to do 6.x). It will show up in the "-dev" release in about an hour; please try that out and let me know how it works for you. If it's okay, I'll cut an official release and port it to 6.x tomorrow.

Final fix committed to 6.x. Menu changing in 6.x is weird.

Also moved settings page into separate file.
