Question on releases

deeporange1 - March 9, 2008 - 02:06

Hello all, I have made a few tweaks to a couple themes and I re-released them as a stable release (so I thought) however on my project pages I see that my projects now have to releases that states "development snapshot ... " and another (ver 2-1) that states: "This release is supported but is not currently the recommended release for 5.x."

So my question is this: why? Why is it not the recommended release. Heck the dev version was quite stable... And my updated projects are just as stable. Why is the system stating that my themes are not recommended or supported??? I recommend them, and I support them!

At any rate you can see what I am talking about at /project/acta and /project/bluefire. Any advise about how this system works would be greatly appreciated - I am a cvs newby. I would really like for my projects to be recommended or at least not highlighted so that they say "Danger, alert, Will Robinson!" and "You may want to think twice about using that!"

I tell you this cvs system is quite an ingenious puzzle.

Best regards, Derek

Er... never mind that I

Er... never mind that I found what I was looking for. I needed to go into the releases section and check off the "recommended" radio button!

I thought all I needed to do was to upload the new tagged files to the cvs and all would be set... I'll remember that next time.

Derek
