Hello,
When I just want create new video, then I do not got here taxonomy supply. Look on shoot. For each category I just use taxonomy and taxonomy is for me way, how I can add new content to menu listing. For video module I can not use them?

please check that your categories are enabled for video nodes too.. and not only story content type.

this seems like a misconfiguration on some taxonomy stuff (see above)... not really a video module bug.
