OG/Panels/Views Experts Needed IMMEDIATELY for Finishing Tasks/Bugs

WISEOZ - March 9, 2008 - 20:05

We are in need of experts with OG, Panels, and/or Views skills to help us with some finishing tasks for our OG home pages. We are currently using Drupal 5.5 with PostgreSQL. We are willing to pay either by task or hourly. Feel free to select from one or more of the tasks listed below and provide a quote using my contact form. Our site is going live on April 1st, so immediate help is needed!

1. We redistributed all the links in the Group Details block (Create a story, Create a picture, etc.) to Views headers/footers so that we can eliminate the use of the Group Details block. The links work fine by keeping a user within the correct OG context but the links have no conditions specified for whether a user is a current subscriber of the OG, anonymous, or authenticated but not a subscriber. We need these conditions applied so that a user does't see "Create a story" if they aren't already an member of the OG.

2. Eliminate/hide "Description:" field on the OG home page node type and make it so that it isn't required. We have OG Auto Fill Description turned on but it's not doing what it says to eliminate the "Description:" field.

3. Make the OG home page node work in the top panel of the OG home page using an argument. Currently, we have the node ID hardcoded to make it appear in the top panel. This will obviously get out of hand with over 100+ groups to administer.

4. Repair a bug with the View Group By module that has our current events (March 2008) being grouped by December 1969 in our view.

5. Repair a bug that has our calendar view showing up through a panel with the year 2037 as the default year. This only happens when the view is displayed through the panel. It does not happen when the view URL is visited directly so it's suspected to be an issue with the Panels Views arguments.

6. For og_aggregator, hide the user-displayed tab from the OG home page. We are trying to have a no tab view for users and this is the only tab that isn't able to be removed.
