On a shared host I recently enabled zlib through my .htaccess file:
php_value zlib.output_compression 1
php_value zlib.output_compression_level -1
Now I am being served Boost cached pages (if they already exist) as admin. As the pages were cached for an unauthenticated user, I have none of the features (e.g. admin menu) that are specific for my role on those pages.
I've disabled zlib and the problem has gone away (but I don't have zlib functionality).

mikeytown2 commentedClosing all 5.x issues; will only reevaluate if someone steps up #454652: Looking for a co-maintainer - 5.x
Reason is 6.x has 10x as many users as 5.x; also last 5.x dev was over a year ago. The 5.x issue queue needs to go.
