I am wondering if events should be viewable by anonymous users? On my site, they only appear once I log in, and thus anonymous users can't view events.

This includes all events in the calendar or the "upcoming events" block used on my sidebar.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Is this the default functionality (or a bug perhaps)? I've already checked the access control and block permissions for both basicevent module and the upcoming events block. There doesn't seem to be anything in the settings that would allow me to change this behavior.

I'm having the same issues actually, with the Drupal 6 version.

Details:
Using Drupal 6.1, basic installation, no core module modification, no event module modification, tested with Garland, tested with personal theme

Any help would be appreciated.

this works fine for me. Check the permissions for the anonymous role.
