Hi,

I am experimenting with the current released version (5.x.2.2) and would like to upgrade to the latest development version. I have read the readme and the documentation and searched this issue list but I can't find out what I need to do. My guess is that I need to:

  1. Un-install the current release (5.x.2.2)
  2. Install the development release (5.x.2.x)
  3. Run update.php

Is that correct? I have never upgraded a module before and so I want to be sure I have the correct process just in case there are any issues.

The new version 5.x-2.3 is now the latest in the dev branch.

In general, download the module files (see "All releases" if you want a particular release), overwrite the old ones (in module/relativity directory), and run update.php.

Hello,

We are running Drupal 5.7. with Node Relativity 5.x.2.0. Last week the Update Status module started telling us we needed to do a security update:

ISecurity update required!
Node Relativity 5.x-2.0
Recommended version: 5.x-2.3 (2008-Mar-16) Download · Release notes
Security update: 5.x-2.2 (2007-Oct-02) Download · Release notes
Includes: Node relativity

So we did the update to 5.x.2.3. Ran update.php fine with no error. At the beginning of this week update status displayed the same message. When you went into the admin area under modules, it said we were running 5.x.2.0. I did the update one more time and 2 days later we are getting the same problem again. It is telling us we need to update and the we are runnign 5.x.2.0. I look at the dates on the files in the modules directory and they are from the date of the last update.

Is this a problem with node relativity or a problem with update status? Please help.

Thanks,
Nancy
