Description

I currently have clients that want something similar to this in a jewellery website (inspired by treeva.com.au, but JS is better than flash). I'm looking for a way to expand this module to make it easier for them, once the website is set up, to upload images and automatically create a page with this feature on it.

Because there will be multiple nodes with this type of content, Ideally it should be a one-step process, similar to submitting an image (i.e. Create content > Magnifier Image).

This page should be similar to an image upload page, with an extra set of inputs (dropdowns, text fields, check boxes, etc.). The final output should be as a normal image (perhaps with only one size - possibly Preview), with a caption/body, and the magnifying function.

I'm keen to get coding, however, I'd really appreciate your input/feedback, especially since you already use the module regularly. I will be more than happy to post the patch/code to expand the module.

Would it be possible to do this with an input filter? like the img_assist input filter? Perhaps that could be modified to suit?

e-geek is going to have a go at this. Will let you know what we come up with.

We've made a module for Ubercart that applies Magnifier on Ubercart product node images: http://www.ubercart.org/contrib/8605

The size of the magnification window and the magnification level can be set at Administer -> Configuration -> Product magnify. (There's a permission for this).
