crnbrdeater commentedI have aslo found it useful to add the width and max character values for text fields. I have included my modded forms.module file. Of course width and max need to be added to the form_fields table. Just my 2 cents.

jsimonis commentedI'd really like to be able to do this. I've done this with forums on my web sites for years. However, it's not available on Drupal.
A lot of people don't understand how to use the drop down boxes. I'd rather have the full list right there in front of them to choose from. However, I want it all under one title the way the radios form item is done.
I'd found one post on how to do this, but apparently that just worked with an older version (was posted in May), as the change crashed the site.
Anyone know how to do this?

jsimonis commentedAnyone?
It'd be really nice to be able to port our survey page over to Drupal. However, we can't do that until we can have multiple checkboxes under one heading (just like the radio buttons).
Right now the only way you can do an item where people can make multiple selections is through the drop down box. But people just don't understand how to use it-- even when you tell them right under the item.
I guess we'll stick with our old page until someone comes up with a way to do this. It sure would be nice so we could have the downloadable excel file.
