Hi,

I was wondering what kind of salary or rate should I be requesting for creating a drupal site with no module development experience. I live in NYC and have done a handful of drupal sites and I'm guessing I'm pretty good so far with modifying modules and theming. As with my php experience I have created an administration panel before, but I still haven't gotten into OOP much. I was thinking about asking for $80k, but is this too much? and as an hourly rate of $40/hr. I reside in NYC.

Your figures are roughly equivalent. Surely the security of full time employment is worth something. If you are freelance, will you be able to bill 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year?

im not sure just wondering what is a somewhat standard rate so I dont get ripped off for cheap labor. Or maybe I might be over my head on asking too much.
