Hey folks - I just released a new drupal site for di Stefano Landscaping. It is not a terribly complex site, but I needed the ability for the owner to be able to add content, and post news, specials, etc.
There are still a few updates I will make in the future, particularly integrating Views and CCK once they have official releases for 6.x. I took of advantage of the built in jQuery support and integrated Gian Carlo Mingati's slideViewer 1.1
I would appreciate if you could take a look and let me know what you think, and whether you notice any bugs.
Thanks in advance!

yes, a major bug!
the link to your site isn't actually working...oh...wait...no...it's just not there ;)
btw, i'm using cck on a d6 install and haven't had an issue yet (knock on wood, it's probably blowing up right now as i type)
Wow - I'm a bonehead
The website is at http://distefanolandscaping.com.
looks great...
you may want to add a small bit of text way down bottom like 'copyright...' and also note location '...of Burlington VT' -
at any rate, in safari3 on a mac i noticed that in 'services' when i got to pictures 5 and 6, the stopped in the middle - so i could see half of each - then i reloaded, and it happened for only 6 (showed half of 5 and half of 6) - that's also a heavy script...
the site looks great though! nice work. have you considered using 'larger thumbnails' in one box, maybe lightbox for huge popups of each?
Thanks for the ideas
Thanks for the ideas. I think added a copyright notice is a good idea, and though we mention "serving central Vermont" on the home page, maybe that would be good to have on all pages.
I am fairly new to playing with Javascript: what exactly do you mean by "that's also a heavy script..."? Does it feel sluggish on your machine? It seems really snappy to me, but I have only tested on dual-core machines at home and work, so I think my perspective might be skewed.
well, some people are on dsl - and vt is like that...
i'm not sure where the majority of customers are, but cable penetration is still not 100 percent - some people are on dsl or sluggish cable and broadband, others are on fios - that script is loading fresh in each page, seems like a little wait, similar to the flash-is-loading on many media sites...but it's not a media site or mtv.com, it's a landscaping site, so seems like utility and simplicity and speed and uniform accessibility should be paramount, but that's just my opinion...
