The block is not displayed

Description

Hi There,

I just downloaded and installed the module. In the block configuration page, I left all the settings to default so the author form is displayed in all nodes. But I do not see the block added. I am using 5.3 version. Am I missing anything

Nevermind seems to be related to an issue in my drupal installation. All the blocks are messed up
