people tagging: facebook style

It would be great to have a facebook style people tagging using imagenotes if possible. digging deeper i found community tags for drupal 5 to be useful to work with imagenotes if it is moved to drupal 5. basically nodeprofile will make the user a node and community tags might be used to do the tagging. i am new to drupal so i am not completely sure but it seems that moving imagenotes to drupal 5 and a little bit of code borrowing from community tags might do the work???
