Is there any news about a new version of Privatemsg that will work with Drupal 6.X
i can't start my website untill it become available
please help

I still don't get that post, it says that the patch contains errors (not that I know how to use patches anyways) and that they are awaiting a Private MSG for D6.

Or am I mis-understanding something?

The maintainer posted in that issue and said the D6 version is postponed until the D5 version is as bugless as possible. Since you don't know how to use patches its probably best to just wait.
