I have transferred an existing community site and set up listhandler to 1 forum but they want it to connect with existing forums within a container.

Would it be possible for me to somehow filter outgoing and incoming mail so that 1 mailing list would connect to multiple forums within a container.

eg. container with forum 1, 2, 3. with 1 single mailing list. A post to forum 1 would go to list with subject prefix [1], a post to forum 2 to same list with subject prefix [2]. Then if someone replied to message with prefix [1] on list listhandler would attach that comment to forum 1.

You would have to have the mail server filter the emails into different mailboxes or folders for this to work.
Then have Mailhandler configured for several mailboxes (or folders) so that each polling mailbox [1] would post to forum [1], mailbox [2] posts to forum [2], and so on.
