access control ideas needed!!!

hi frens,
is it possible that i allow certain page to be accessed to only one particular users. i tried taxonomy access control but my problem was all authenticated users had same access right. i want only few of them to be able to access the page. please suggest. thank you....

Create a new user role. the assign these new user role to your chosen users then assign user access to those pages that these role are meant to access.

There are modules for this. Look through the access control modules for the one that best suits your needs. Try searching Drupal for specific answers that might help you too.

I think this is what you are trying to ask. On administer >> user settings>> access control. There is role and permissions. Assign the permissions to corresponding roles.
