Note:Changing the default front page is the same in Drupal 5.x and Drupal 6.x.

Replace http://www.example.com with your website url

  1. Login to your drupal site http://www.example.com/user
  2. Navigate directly to:

  4. From your navigation menu click on Administer
  5. From your navigation menu click on Site Configuration
  6. From your navigation menu click on Site Information
  7. Under Default front page:(at the bottom of the form) enter the path to the node you want as the front page.
  8. Click Save Configuration
  9. Go to http://www.example.com to verify that your page is on the front
