Description
There are many Coding standards violations in this module, including flags of insecure database queries. Please use the Coder module to identify them.

#1
Is it safe to use this module ?
#2
according to CVS there has been nothing done on this since 2007. That said, it very well may be an abandoned module and would be reason enough not to use it, unless you have the skill set to fix the problems with the module.
Modules that don't conform to drupal coding standards and don't fix flags of insecurity can be problematic for production sites on their own.
When you take into account both of the situations above, I don't think the module should be used beyond testing on a test site.
#3
I wouldn't use it.. Since there is no update to Drupal 6. When they stop releasing patches for Drupal 5, you have to move to Drupal 6 and find another module for the job anyway.
#4
New 5.x version coming soon - all coding violations sorted.
