I was just wondering if there is a way to remove the [nid:xx] after a successfully referenced node. I can understand the use for it from a admin/developer standpoint, but regular users might not understand what it is for.

Thanks

unfortunately, it's the only way we could come up with to avoid problems with non-unique node titles.
I'm well aware that exposing 'nid' to the end user is far from ideal, but short of a richer autocomplete feature in core, it's all we can provide for now.

Completely understandable. Any plans on an updated autocomplete feature in core any time soon?

Has a feature request been created for this?

Back to closed state. This is probably nothing we can do about during the life cycle of CCK for D6.

PS: Also, this is not related to CCK3.
