Hi

I was using the version 2.6 and upgraded recently to 2.7.

The issue is that although I have uploaded a .flv video, and can see it in the back-end in my converted file directory along with the thumbnail, it refuses to play. i.e. even after I cron run and ffmpeg conversions I am not getting the video in the flash player, instead the message come as 'Video currently not available' (the thumbnail is displaying properly). Whereas my old flvs in that folder are playing smoothly.

I think my issue is similar to the one discussed here http://drupal.org/node/190671, and the resolution was supposedly adding a MIME type. But I do not find it as to where to add it, because the the subsequent versions have stripped '[FileType, MimeType, DefaultPlayer] configuration:' which was present erstwhile.

Please help me.

Regards

I just uploaded another flv, and it played smoothly with no 'video currently not available' scenario after running the cron. It seems that there is some issue with the video file being uploaded or the MIME type, or ffmpeg settings, can anyone please elaborate.

Because I have another copy of my site on a local machine (without ffmpeg), here the video in question is playing without any troubles.

I am unable to ascertain as to what is the issue related to. Is it the ffmpeg, my video MIME type or something else?

Please I need help.

Thanks & Regards

Hi

I could find the problem. It was because of the browser.

What I have observed is that when I use Safari-3.04beta, the video although uploaded is not playing and giving 'video currently not available' error. But everything works smoothly with firefox and IE.

I got the same too...

I just don't know exactly where to put the player.

Is there anybody who could tell me where to place the player?

Help me please....
