x.1.x versions

The 5.1.x and 6.1.x versions of the module have a less flexible plug-in architecture and leave almost all the work to the video format plug-ins. It might also contain little bugs that won't be fixed anymore, so don't use it anymore.

Does this refer to the 5.x-1.x and 6.x-1.x versions? Also They might also contain…so don't use them anymore.
May I suggest it would be less confusing to say;- These versions are no longer supported, so any bugs won't be fixed. Please upgrade to [5,6].x-2.x series.
