this does not appear to work correctly! please read

i've got d6.1 installed, downloaded iconify, went to admin/modules and enabled - upon return to the admin page, there was no "iconify" administration option at all - but what's VERY strange: all of the links in the admin default interface (where they're grouped by type) were overridden to link back to the root of the site (mysite.com) instead of the correct path - BUT if the modules were viewed in LIST form (the other option in admin) the paths were fine...

however, to remove the iconify - i had to manually go in via my ftp tool, delete "iconify" and then run update.php to get the admin menu working again (it was fine, and i am certain that this is iconify doing something to cut up display interface for that admin screen to support icons)

i am telling you this right away because i believe that anybody using d6.1 who downloads and activates the march 15th d6 version of iconify is going to see this exact issue - the admin screen links go dead (wrong path for ALL) and only way to remove/fix is to manually delete iconify module and run update.php

any idea what's causing this?
