Usability Test Suite
Following the results of the formal usability testing at University of Minnesota, we discussed that what would be optimal for the Drupal project is to devise a way that we could reproduce the results of this testing, but virtually, so that we could iteratively test Drupal improvements and could have far more usability coverage of Drupal core and contributed module functionality.
This project entails creating a module that can capture data such as click maps, mouse movements, surveys and results, screen captures, audio recordings, and so on. This would allow local user groups to conduct usability studies in Drupal and send results back to the team working on usability improvements. Full details on this project are available at http://groups.drupal.org/node/9661.
