Hello,
I have gotten views to work with pages as long as I set the path to a page that isn't already created. For example - if I set a page view for www.mysite.com/pagethathasn'tbeencreated - it works beautifully. If I set the page view to say www.mysite.com/pagethatisalreadycreated - it doesn't change that page.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

sleddoggin commentedOkay - so basically what I am asking is whether or not there is a way to force a page view onto a page that has already been created. Just like you can force, for example, the page view called "frontpage" onto your home page. Is there a way to do this for other pages? Thanks!

merlinofchaos commentedTheoretically this is supposed to be possible, but the new D6 menu system may not work the same way as the old one did and it may be rejecting it due to the way Views is using it. So this may be a bug in that you can't override the path. I'll have to see what I can do here.

sleddoggin commentedThanks merlinofchaos. Let me know if I can do any testing for you. Also - I noticed that I can't seem to find any Taxonomy:terms arguments or filter options in the new views for drupal 6. I think I remember there being a way to filter your results by taxonomy terms in the older version.
Thanks again!
merlinofchaos commentedNope. taxonomy has never been implemented in views 2.
sleddoggin commentedIs it ever going to be implemented into views 2?
merlinofchaos commentedOf course. The release notes are fairly clear about that, aren't they?
merlinofchaos commentedThis got implemented somewhere around alpha5.
