My latest site is a collection of user-submitted global data on the best hills for downhill riders - like skateboarders, freeboarders, luge, etc.

Hill Bomb

It integrates with Google Maps, uses CCK/Views quite heavily and also relies on the excellent Faceted Search module for finding hills in a specific area.

I also use the Subscriptions module and a couple of small custom modules to get the job done!

mark, totally random: i grew up with pete verdone, we were very close friends for a long time - both very serious skateboarders (i actually competed back in the day) AND we did tons of downhill (made our own gear in the 80's too) - pete eventually went on to design the world's most advanced slalom trucks for downhill - ever heard of him?
