I have installed the picasa module and I can create and setup everything, but when the content is created it shows no pics in my album. However when I do a preview it shows everything correctly. I would appreciate if someone could show me if I have done something wrong or misses out anything. Thanks.

If at all possible, use PHP 5. That solved similar problems I was having.

I am experiencing this problem too. Although there are public albums set for the Picasa user, when I visit the user created for Picasa by Drupal, it displays the message "Public albums: 0".

Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same issue. I have gone back and forth with this one. My host provider has PHP version 5.2.6 - still nothing.

All appears to be correct. When I enter my Picasa username and save the changes, the Google Data is automatically filled with all the correct information. In fact, it is picking up the number of public albums I have and filling in that information in the Google Data.

However, it is still showing that I have no Public albums - which is not true. All my albums are public. And here's something weird...I just changed my thumbnail image and it was picked up...

Please help.

I'm having the same problem and I think it's something to do with the Google authorization. My web server is not getting the whole feed. This is something that I might be able to work on fixing. There are different types of authorization available, and a different kind might work better. Is the maintainer already looking into this?

I have this problem with web placed on my home computer. Preview is OK, but when I want to post (save) the node my browser is just showing on the status bar: Waiting for {name_of_my_comp} and it's waiting forever.

When I did the same on the production web server it was OK. Maybe is the problem that my home computer is behind NAT - it has private IP address. Are your webservers behind NAT or not?

More details

My computer
IP address: private
OS: Windows XP
PHP: 5.2.5

Production server
IP address: public
OS: Linux
PHP: 5.2.0-8+etch13

I'm discontinuing supporting the d5 version completely because of the complexity of this module. After reviewing your problem I'm wondering if the data in #363910: Impossible to importe Picasa album might be of some use. If at all possibly I would highly recommend migrating to d6 as the implementation is significantly more advanced and of higher quality.
