My hosted space is currently using PHP 4, but I can (somehow!) change it over to PHP 5; which is what I want to do so as to move forward with site development. However, what should I do in so far the active Drupal installation (v6.1) when that is executed? Thanks!

I had the ability to do the same (through .htaccess). If that's how you're doing it, you need do nothing. I was able to do it just fine.

But be sure to put it in maintenance mode first, just in case.
