From browsing the forum, I found a module called ScrollText that sounded like a possible replacement, but...I don't have any idea how to use it!

There didn't seem to be any clear instructions anywhere I could find on the ScrollText page, and the home page was not something I could figure out how to navigate either! :(

On our non-Drupal site we had a marquee that slid in from right to left and stopped. That's what I'm trying to replace. Is it possible?

Yes, ScrollText using HTML Marquee. Some problem still exists on certain browser type, currently working fine on FF 2.0.0.14 and IE6.

There doesn't seem to be any source of information on how to use this module. Can someone please point me to documentation or simple instructions?
