proximity search returning no results :(

Hi BDragon & wundo,
I know a lot of work is going on in the Location module, but hoping you can help steer me right with the version I'm using...

My problem is that I search by zipcode and no results show (specific zip codes used in published nodes with locations enabled, entered, and gmaps already properly loaded).

I am sure this worked before, and it's really embarrassing because the site is supposed to go live soon.

is there anything I can do to debug, or otherwise sort this out?

I'm using version = "5.x-2.7" by the way.
