A few days ago, Google announced it opens the Youtube API further, adding user authentication to the youtube service and video uploads among other features.

It would be nice if Flashvideo added support for these new YouTube API features.

To my opinion, the best implementation would be to give the choice to the user of either log-in with his account so as to upload or to use an account defined by default by the webmaster, making the process easier for the end user (especially if he doesn't have a youtube account).

Any takers for sponsoring this feature? I am slammed at the current moment, but sponsorship will bring this feature much sooner.
