use with non profile content types?

Issue Summary

Can this be adapted to use this module to download a CSV file of other data types?

I always run into problems using the core profile module and am trying to get away from using it and using Bio instead (for Views & Panels reasons and for theming the user profile) but this module would be a great loss to my current functionality. Also the editable field module doesn't support profile fields in views.
