We are looking for a drupal expert to take our existing project and turn it into a drupal distribution (based on 5.7) that can then be used by other educational groups for projects similar to ours in the future. The consultant will be expected to produce a zip file that contains a prepackaged system clean of the current content but with some of our educational materials preloaded in it. The consultant will also be expected to produce detailed instructions (whether with links to existing drupal materials or otherwise) for installing this distribution on a server.

The existing system has not been 'cleaned up' as it was designed and then modified throughout the course of the project to suit the needs of educators and the demands of a complex, diversified project. The consultant will also be expected to make a 'best effort' to tidy the structure as much as possible in the limited time span available. The evaluators of the RFP have specific and extensive knowledge of the drupal platform but the manager of the eventual project does not.

Deliverables -
1. completed legacy platform (zip distribution) for livingarchives french/english.
2. packaged (new or existing) installation materials.
3. page layout for posting on existing websites.

Contract will be paid upon completion of deliverables.

The proposal should explain

1.The technical strategy for taking the existing websites (French and English) and preparing them to be a generic platform for future educational projects.
2.An outline of the instructions that will be provided for installation
3.Bid for the contract in CAD taxes in.
4.Commitment to deliver BEFORE April 15th.
