On my site, www.flaglerama.net, when viewed in FF2 clicking on the ShareThis link at bottom causes the browser to jump back up to the top of the page and not automatically go back down to the ShareThis box.

Doesn't happen in IE6.

I've had the same issue, but it is related to the ShareThis link code that is generated.

You can quickly solve this by adding the following line of jQuery to your page template, or inside of another JS file that may be in use on your site.

JQ('a[href=#]').attr('href', 'javascript:void(0);');

This takes every link that would look like this:

<a href="#"></a>

And replace it with a link that looks like this:

<a href="javascript:void(0);"></a>

This is a combination of an issue on how FF reacts to those # links, and making sure they all handle it the same. Otherwise, without a change to the ShareThis code from the ShareThis side, there won't be a solution without manipulating those links after they have been generated.

After a couple of hours of fooling with your suggestion, which did not work, I found the proper solution:

Place the following before the </body>:

<script type="text/javascript"> jQuery('a[href=#]').attr('href', 'javascript:void(0);'); </script>
