Hi,
I need a site. Sticking with 5.0 has benefits since it has been out for a while and many more bugs are squashed. Plus, they are many more modules. But, 6.0 is easier to use, new features, and many 5.x modules are being upgraded.
If I stick with 5.x, and pay to have a template done, how hard (in $$ terms) is it to upgrade the template to 6.0? I will only use off-the-shelf and popular modules so I do not anticipate any problems.
I will also need to connect Drupal users with vbulletin.
what should I /what would you do?
thanks in advance,

Facing same dilemma
I'm facing the same concern. I would prefer to use 6, but I'm not sure that I can afford to, given the disparity between the modules offered for 5 and 6. I'm currently searching for a larger discussion of 5 vs. 6. Perhaps if you find something it would be useful to post it back here.
Glad am not the only one.
Glad am not the only one. If upgrading the templates was (relatively) easy, I wouldn't mind starting with 5.7 and keep the
features at a basic level until 6 became stable. But the template will be used on about a dozen or so separate sites so
it's important. Also, CCK and many other "must have" modules are still being ported.
Bump for a discussion :)
