as it is not feasible to consistently display a matching Number of nodes in Overview and Threads page, I would suggest that the "Number" be (optionally) not displayed at all. At least in my use case, the only useful information for users is in the Threads page. A mismatching number (even with explanation) would not be appreciated, and would generate useless user inquiries.

Please wait with opening further issues until Subscriptions is running properly on your system. As long as this is not the case, you don't see what it really looks like, and we have no common base for discussion.

WIth all submodules enabled and screenshots, I now have a better pictures of the system and see that Number is generally useful. So I am changing status to "by design". Thank you.
