Hi,
I am pretty new to Drupal and I just took over a website that uses Drupal. All our section websites are hosted by an NGO organisation that is unfortunately a bit difficult to get hold of. So I am wondering what version I am using. I tried to upgrade to 6.1 but always got an error message so I reinstalled the old version. When I open the changelog.txt the first lines are:
// $Id: CHANGELOG.txt,v 1.253.2.5 2008/02/27 19:44:44 goba Exp $
Drupal 6.1, 2008-02-27
----------------------
- fixed a variety of small bugs.
- fixed a security issue (Cross site scripting), see SA-2008-018
Does that mean I do already have the latest version? The thing is: When I reinstalled the old version I am not sure if I also overwrote that file. So maybe I just left the original file from the Drupal 6.1. folder in the home directory? It might be possible our organisation auto-updated Drupal for all sections, I am just not sure.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Oliver

What Versions Do you have?
Hi Oliver,
When you open the changelog.txt file and you see the following line at the top where it says "Drupal 6.1, 2008-02-27" that means you have v6.1 which is the latest version.
