The module misses calls to the t() function in several places, for instance in the drupal_set_message() calls. So, it's not possible to translate these messages.

Could you please provide detail about where t() has not been implemented. I did a quick search for drupal_set_message and all it's instances in masquerade.module have the t() implemented well. Also, are you using the latest development tarball?

I'm using the 1.1 version, which is released is 2006 I see now.

I suppose it's time for a new release.

5.x-1.2 is out and don't see any instances were t() is missing in it: http://drupal.org/node/281577
