Are there plans to upgrade this module to ExtJS 2?

If not, I'd be happy to write a patch.

As I mentioned in a reply to your email, you now how CVS access and are welcome to upgrade the module to support v2. Or you may just drop off a patch here and I'll commit it.

(Sorry for the wait, for some reason I wasn't monitoring the issue queue any more..)

It would not necessary to update the module to Ext 2.x, if it would use a version independent name for the folder where it looks for the Ext JS library files. A folder name like lib would be sufficient, and the admin would not even need to change the settings for the module.

The latest version of the module (HEAD, and it's still 6.x-1.x-dev, but just updated) defaults to the Ext library's directory being ext, and it works fine with any version of Ext.

Just drop the Ext JS 2.1 SDK folder into the modules/ext folder, rename it to "ext", go to Administer › Site configuration › Ext, and it should be working right out of the box. Just remember to Enable the library if you want it to load on every page view.
