Description

Can't find in the Google and Drupal GA module documentation what to fill in at the Google Analytics profile setting page 'Query Parameter' specialy for a Drupal setup.
I tryed 'search/node' and 'search', but the GA reports did'nt give any output for search.
Could you provide some documentation for this? Thanks in advance.

From the description of this search tracking feature:

You must configure your Google account to use the internal query parameter search.

Does anyone know if you can use this feature with other contributed search modules on your Drupal installation, such as faceted_search?

Would the query parameter then just be something like "faceted_search/results" instead of "search"?

In the meantime, I am testing to see if it does track this (faceted instead of the main search); I will report back whether it works or not.

If the faceted_search requires core search it could work...

It didn't work for me. I tried with search, search/, search/node and others and the result is the same: nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks.

In Google you configure "search" as your query param. Then activate core "search" module, check search module support in GA settings, that's it.

Just to be clear, here, the answer is that the parameter you need to use is "search" without those quotes:) Reading it all in one line makes it seem like "query parameter search" is in and of itself an option.

Problem solved!

Thanks so much for this conversion. I've been struggling with this for months. I used variations of search and node to no avail. Finally got a clue and came here. I'll plug in it now. Thanks again.

Long time ago I changed the keyword to be bold... hope this helps.
