XML feed output is empty

Description
The feed contains no image information, all it outputs is: <gallery> </gallery>
I have followed all the instructions, and I'm considering whether if its an issue of running in on a local server (MAMP).

Update:
1. Deleted all existing image galleries
2. Created a new image gallery (/admin/content/image/add) and placed images into it
3. Deleted existing slideshow View
4. Created a new View, but when I went to choose the Filter for SlideShowPro: Image galleries, there were no choices in the drop down menu (screenshot attached)
For some reason the SlideShowPro module is not recognizing image galleries in the system. It is possible this is a caching/cron issue?(reminder, I'm running on a local server)

Having same problem, empty xml file, did you ever figure it out?

Found my solution:
Go here:
/admin/content/taxonomy
If image galleries type is blank then set 'type' to 'image'
The gallery association option should now show up when adding an image. Upload an image, or edit an existing one, then select your gallery. Now go check your xml view to see if the image is showing yet.
So, not really a slideshow problem, but a config for image gallery problem.

You need to put all your galleries under an image gallery called 'ssp'.
