Which is the best Drupal book for Newbies?

If I have to buy one book, which do you recommend? Eventually I'd like to understand all the nitty gritty details of Drupal, but for now I just want to understand how to make a website from scratch. I already have Drupal installed on MAMP, and I've read some of the cookbook, but I'd really like something that is well written that is a better guide to creating a website from scratch.
Newbie book
Are you a PHP newbie as well, or just a Drupal newbie?
If you are new to both Drupal 5 Themes is a really excellent introduction to Drupal and does not assume more than a basic understanding of PHP.
If you already know PHP and are ready to write custom modules and really tweak the way Drupal works, then Pro Drupal Development is probably the best Drupal book out there.
