Should I use 5.7 or 6.1

I'm not really sure what to do. What do you guys think is currently the better one to use? I know 6.1 is more secure but alot of modules wont work it it. What is more commonly used?

They're both secure.
They're both secure. Go with 5.x, there are no big sites running 6.x right now, and Drupal.org itself is still on 5.x.

5.7 is more commonly used,
5.7 is more commonly used, but that's only because 6.1 hasn't been around too long. In this case, I wouldn't base my choise on the behaviour of the masses if I were you.
IMHO, the thing you should be asking is: are all modules I need for my site available for Drupal 6? If you can't answer this question with a very certain "YES!", go for 5.7. If you can, use 6.1.
5.7 is more secure..
I agree with the other posters, 5.7 is the way to go.
version 6.0 is relatively new and security issues aren't usually caught until it's in widespread use. because 5.7 is being used for a lot sites, it's already gone through that initial period where security issues pop up, so I would argue that 5.7 is more secure.
I stand corrected on that, but, that's the way I would tend to look at it.
it's all about the modules
I use 5.7 for my sites simply because not all the modules I use have been ported for 6. If you don't need a lot of modules that aren't 6 ready, use 6.1. If you think you need a lot of modules, stick with 5.7.
