Hey,
currently I have a domain running drupal 5.1.
I have photos which are public available at my flickr page.
These photos should be _fully_ integrated into my domain.

At the moment I have done this using a slightly modified version of flickrhood.
But I want to let my users comment the pictures (the comments should be saved to drupal, not flickr)

How can I achive this without a lot of headache? ;)
(It is no problem to update to a newer version of drupal)

I'm not sure if this is possible with any modules currently, but you can try posting a feature request in the Flickr module's issue queue:
