Issue Summary

Hi,

In short, I'd like admin to decide what actions (delete, edit, view) user can grant for a specific role.
For example, at this moment if I allow a user to grant access to his nodes he can grant view/edit/delete to any role and any user. That may be a problem since for example I don't want anonymous user to be able to delete any content of my page but any member of my page can do it anyway (intentionally or not).
So what I'm looking for is an ability to set up what actions (view/edit/delete) are allowed for a specific role. Technically, it could be done a similar table as in
"Default access control settings" available at /admin/content/types/page/access
So if I unmark "delete" for anonymous user noone will be able to grant this permission anymore.

Is it a feature that a core team of c-a module is willing to provide?
If not, would you be still interested in adding this feature if a patch would be provided to you?

Btw, this is a very useful module but what prevents me from using it is the lack of this feature because at no circumstances I wanna allow anonymous user to be able to delete any page.

Cheers,
Zbigniew

Subscribing.

@Cyberwolf: Why are you subscribing to very old issues for versions that no one cares about anymore?

This raises these issues back to the top and confuses the queue.

Version:5.x-1.3» 6.x-1.x-dev

@salvis: AFAIK the enhancement request is still valid for the latest versions of Content Access, that's why I am subscribing. Maybe I should raise the version then as well to 6.x-1.x-dev?

The ordering of issues in the queue can be improved heavily I think, hopefully that's something taken into account for the redesign of drupal.org.

Yes, if you think the issue still applies, then update the version number.

Does CA for D6 even offer the functionality for node authors to set access rights? I wasn't even aware of that feature... Or was that only in D5?
