feature request/question - limitless or 'up to 200'? and attach nodes request! [#23744]

this is more of a question and if it doesn't exist or if i'm missing something, then perhaps it's a feature request

the module works perfectly in 4.6, and i love how it displays in user profiles - the only question i have is how to raise the default limits for buddies - what i mean is, can i (or any user) have hundreds of buddies and if so, can the admin raise the display options above "30" for display and "10" for "buddy of"?

also, something that would be really neat: if a user views some profile and sees that user's buddy list, what about displaying to the right either 'most recent content' (with option to display perhaps one or two most recent) OR a shortcut link to that member's blog or group if he/she has one AND that member's buddies..

for example, a list now says:
Buddies:
MemberA
MemberB

but what about:
Buddies
MemberA MemberA's Buddies MemberA's Blog MemberA's Group1 MemberA's Group2
MemberB MemberB's Buddies
MemberC MemberC's Buddies MemberC's Blog
MemberD MemberD's Buddies MemberD's Blog MemberD's Articles

and so on and so on and ditty-ditty so on...

i second the request for limitless buddies. it is going to be essential for sites that our organization is currently converting to drupal from mambo.

I don't think the answer is just increasing the number of buddies that can be displayed on your user profile page. Rather, we need some sort of view that people can use to browse their buddies. If you've got a thousand buddies, you're never going to want to display them on the page at the same time anyway, right? More likely you want them to be in a table that you can filter and sort.

Create mock-ups of the ideal functionality and I may have time to implement it. Patches are also welcome.

PS I'll mainly be developing the 4.7 branch and don't intend to backport to 4.6, so if you're interested in keeping the branches synched, please step up as a volunteer to do so.
