Please, how do I theme the tabs.css as currently it's just a unattractive block (seeming without css or uniformity) and presuming that it should call the css from my theme which is zen?

Would like some uniformity .. do these tabs have a separate css? or can it actually link to my default tabs.css? Any examples of existing tabs (that look good) would be most appreciated.
